The evening meeting dates for the rest of 2009
October 26th
November 9th and 23rd
December 14th

we then start meeeting again on January 11th

The day meetings at Cafe Nero are
October 30th
November 27th
December 18th (early as Christmas Day is the last Friday in December)

July and August

Don't forget we still meet on the second and fourth Monday every month. We ahve a few new members and at the moment we are a small but friendly bunch. My earth stripe wrap hasn't been touched but I have finished Preppy for Jemma. I have also started a cross stitch sampler for a friends wedding. Linda is doing a beautiful cross stitch of a partridge on black Aida. Poppy is knitting her christmas yarn which is a beautiful blue. Margeret is knitting baby bits .

June Dates

The next meeting is May 29th at Caffe Nero in Borehamwood from 10.30 a.m.
Our evening meetings are 8th June and 22nd June from 6.30pm at St Pauls Church Hall, St Pauls Close, Borehamwood

All new members welcome. Hope to have some pics from the next meeting.

March and April

In March we met on the 9th where most of us were sewing up although TJ was knitting baby bits. We next meet on the 23rd MArch from 6.30pm at St Pauls and on the 27th in Caffe Nero.

IN APRIL THERE WILL BE NO EVENING MEETINGS DUE TO BANK HOLIDAYS AND NO ONE BEING AVAILABLE TO OPEN ON THE 27TH

Happy New Year

A new year new resolutions. A lot of us have finished our projects from last year. Linda has finished her fabulous cabled slipover. I have finished my blanket. Storm from Kim Hargreaves Heartfelt, Some fingerless Noro gloves , my nieces hat and gloves but am still on the Earth Stripe Wrap. Pops is still on her cabled sweater and Brenda is in her striped sweater for one of her nephews.

November Calling

Last month was an interesting month we had a visit from the coordinator from the Shoebox charity. We are all going to be knitting bits for them for next year.
Linda has finished her Soy cardigan and it looked great. Liz is knitting a variety of bits and I'm still on my Kidsilk earth stripe wrap. We have welcomed a few new members to each of the meetings. It's always good to meet new knitters and crafters.
This month we are meeting evening 10th & 24th and the Friday club is on the 28th
