knitting is the new Jewellery

Well the meeting went well this week with lots of projects finished. TJ has been very busy with her Fizz jacket and floral jewellery set. It comprised of earrings and necklace and looked amazing. She inspired a few of us to try them ourselves and I would recommend them to everyone even beginners. They are so easy to make and use such a tiny amount of yarn. She got the pattern from the flowers from Rowans RYC Classic Art Book. LP has finished her jacket which looked great and really suited her, as always she has a good eye for patterns that suit her L was knitting another pair of socks for her nephew and her partner in crime B was knitting a fashion yarn scarf. RB has finished her first scarf but want to use it as a trim so she is looking for a top to trim. She also started a new scarf in Boa. LR was knitting a summer top for herself in gorgeous pink/lilac colour. AM and OE were freelance crocheting and AS is knitting even more squares for her daughters blanket as was JB a new member. EJ is knitting a large bag in numerous yarns to hold all her books. We had a good laugh and started to plan our next craft fayre.
The young male knitter is doing very well and apparently has orders for socks and scarves until 2013. Mums still waiting for her jacket though!!
