Craft Fayre 2006

There was a great atmosphere and we had a steady flow of interest. One of our members OH brought in an amazing cake for Guess The Weight of The Cake . It was all handmade and as you can see looked amazing. One very lucky person guessed the weight exactly 7lb 7 1/2oz. We were all a bit envious. There was a good range of stalls with goods ranging from handspun, handdyed yarn to handmade cards and jackets. We also taught some a family how to knit mum, dad and little Cerys. She couldn't manage the needles but she told her nan exactly what to do. For all the knitters who struggled with casting on and learning to knit you will appreciate how annoying it was to see dad pick it up after only 2 stitches. He is a natural and mum was good too with great tension. Dad picked it up so quickly that he was soon showing mum what to do. He's promised his mum a jacket like one of Lauras for her birthday.
